Geneva Byrd was born and raised in Milwaukee Wi. As wife and a mother of 3 children of her own she realized the importance of including her children in the baking/cooking process. She believes that baking/cooking creates a solid foundation in kitchen safety, good hygiene, math, science, and other essential life skills that are imperative to children leading their best lives. She saw a need in the community to serve other children in this capacity and founded Little Bakers Association in 2016.

Currently Geneva conducts her classes at Parklawn YMCA, and Milwaukee Recreation where she teaches youth between the ages of 4-16. She has also done work with Arts @Large in Walkers point. Her vision is to serve the underserved children in the community by giving them access to important skills that will help them succeed in life.
